We have an electronic air filter attached to our furnace..The filter is about 20 years old.?
Our son sleeps directly over the utility room. He now has a nasal problem, W ehave read that ionized air is not good for the respitory tract. Can anyone tell me more information on ionizing air filters?
I have seen these devices advertized. A high voltage spark is running inside a plastic box, along with a fan and removable filters, they are placed in close proximity to the sleeper and give the sleeper a good nites sleep.
I remember an old guy saying that he always knows when his wife has turned the thing out as he coughs and sneezes all nite, and has to get up and turn it on. He showed me an old filter and I could’nt believe how dirty it was.
