What is better a short ram? or a CAI (cold air intake)? I have a 2001 honda civic LX Automatic. Someone told me that i couldn’t add a CAI because i have an automatic and therefore it wouldn’t fit and he said that i would be stuck with the short ram. Doesn’t the short ram go in the same place as the CAI? lol i thought that was funny. But what is better? I hear that the SRI gives the engine hotter air than the CAI but it makes you accelerate a little better(the SRI does). I was looking at Andys Auto sports i think thats the name and i was looking at the Kamakazi CAI’s and the AEM SRI’s. The kamakazi was cheaper than the AEM’s SRI. Which one should i go with? The more expensive SRI or the $10 cheaper CAI? If i got a CAI could i get a thicker air filter if it fit?

note: The CAI’s air filter was kind of small. The SRI’s filter was big as hell.
