Will black mold incernate in a wood furnace or release into the air?
We have a wood burning furnace that is hooked up to our central ht/ac. I have heard that black mold spores are dangerous to your health. I’m wondering if I burn wood that is covered in black mold if it will incernate it or release it into the air. It runs through a filter on the central heat unit, but I’m not sure if I need a special filter or not. I’m curious since one of my children has asthma. I grew up burning wood and have asked everyone I know and no one has an answer. Anyone out there can you help me?
