Help with my air pump bubbles?
My sponge filter that i am using in my 5 gallon (1ft height) tank produces a lot of bubbles on the surface that pop and direct water everywhere. Tiny bits of water splash around and it gets quite annoying and it also means i am losing a lot of water.
Is there anything i can do to solve this problem? I can’t turn down the air pump because even at the lowes setting it still produces a lot of bubbles and it won’t be circulating the water as good.
Get a Condensation tray to put on top of the tank than place the tank lid over that!
These can be bought at the pet shop to the size of you’re tank,..and are see-through corrugated plastic and are put on the tank to stop water from evaporating from the tank,stops water coming in contact with with the lighting unit also!
The water from you’re pump will just splash against it and drop back in the tank!
