My mom offered to watch our infant, but she is a smoker. She only smokes in one room in the house and has an air filter in that room. However, since she has been smoking for years, (my brother and I actually grew up in the home with both my parents smoking at the time) you leave with an odor on our clothes. I do not feel that we are exposed to secondhand smoke, but what about the odor? Does that have an effect on us, and more importantly will it have an effect on our infant?
Well, just think about it. You are actually leaving the house smelling like YOU just smoked a cigarette. I would think it could have some effect. But I could be wrong.
